Anthony

Anthony Low is a composer with a deep musical foundation, built over eight years of studying the violin and the piano. A three-time MTNA composition competition state representative, he has written music for solo instruments, small groups, and full orchestras. He likes trying out different combinations of instruments such as violin, piano, cello, oboe, bass drums, and trumpet, and often experiments with new techniques or styles to deepen the expressive range of his music.

Outside of music, Anthony spends time writing. He brings humor and imagination into his poems, stories, and essays, and has received four Honorable Mentions from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in Personal Essay & Memoir, Poetry, and Short Story. Whether he is composing or writing, he puts care into each project and enjoys creating work that feels personal and thoughtfully made.
